We have had a busy weekend, celebrating little Miss Autumn’s 10th birthday and also my dad’s 60th birthday. It is also Thanksgiving here in Canada as well.
For Autumn’s party, we decided to do an Alice In Wonderland Theme. We decorated the house with Alice In Wonderland Pictures from the classic book by Lewis Carrol. We love that book! Especially me.
The girls made most of their own decorations and we taped up a deck of playing cards. We just printed off some images for free to decorate and hung up some black and white streamers with blue, red and black balloons.
For snacks, we had pretzels, veggie chips, peanut butter and jam sandwiches on whole wheat bread with little heart cut-outs, heart-shaped watermelon and apples, carrots, peas and apple juice.
They got out dress up stuff to have a Mad Hatter Tea Party!
The kids got to be outside for most of the party and we made a piñata for them as a way to take home treats.
She got some sewing stuff, drawing supplies, a deck of unicorn oracle cards, a dream catcher, some crystal bracelets, a lot of great books, some Rainbow Loom stuff and some board games. All wonderful and useful gifts!
It was a wonderful day and I am so grateful to have such a beautiful, helpful young lady to be my daughter!
God has truly blessed us all with Autumn! 🙂
